Thats the exact version I have listed from the BD player's System Info screen and followed the same remote hack as before using the repeat 57538 code. Try to google 'Samsung BD-P1600 region code', the steps are more detailed on these model but the same process used for bd-p1620. Keep doing it a few times. Im sorry but there are no currently region hacks for this model as well almost no blu-ray can be made region free, there are only a few that can and its not as easy as a simple dvd hack is, it is also very expensive usually starting at $100 up to $200 or more, as well none really make region free they usually only pay it able to play 2 regions.
